Terms of Service

Terms for using the browser-local bank statement converter

Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of fileformatconverter.store and its browser-local bank statement converter. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Converter scope

The current converter accepts PDF statements up to 20 MB and previews the first two pages for free. A one-time payment of $1.99 unlocks XLSX, CSV, and QBO export for the selected file batch, using the first 50 pages of that batch, for seven days. There is no recurring subscription for this conversion product. Image-only pages can be read with local OCR. The parser supports common layouts from the bank pages listed on the site, but a bank name on a page does not guarantee that every statement layout will parse correctly.

Files remain in your browser during parsing and export. The paid entitlement applies to the selected batch and is not a license to process files outside that batch. You are responsible for keeping a copy of the original statement and checking the exported dates, amounts, debit, credit, balance, and QBO fields before using them for accounting or reporting.

Payments and refunds

Checkout is handled by the configured payment provider. Access is granted only after our server receives and verifies the provider webhook. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the related export entitlement may be revoked. Contact support with the order details for payment questions.

Use of Services

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that every PDF will parse, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that an export is suitable without review for tax, legal, lending, or bookkeeping decisions.

User Accounts

When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activities that occur through it.

Intellectual Property

Our website and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

User Content

You retain all rights to your statements and are responsible for having the right to process them. The converter does not require you to grant us a license to the PDF because the file is parsed locally in your browser.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use our services in a way that violates applicable law or regulation
  • Restrict or inhibit another person's use of the service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or networks
  • Use the service to distribute malware or harmful code

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to an account or service for abuse, security reasons, legal requirements, or a material breach of these terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page.
